Chevrolet has two electric vehicles that offer great driving benefits and a lot of fuel savings. Another outstanding feature of the Chevy Spark EV is the amount of passenger room that it offers at over 86 cubic feet of space. The big difference between the Volt and the Spark is that the Volt only gets 38 miles per charge compared to the 82 miles that the Spark gets. The Volt comes with the same three years of OnStar service and the MyLink radio system. With the 120 volt standard charger it takes about 10-12 hours to charge the Volt to full capacity. Optional is the 240 volt charger that quickly speeds up charging to a fast four hours compared to seven for the 2014 Spark EV. The 2013 Chevy Volt is also Bluetooth capable, USB-compatible, and it comes with eight standard airbags. The 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV and the 2013 Chevrolet Volt have similar charging capabilities including comparable mileage. The differences are the amount of charge that the Spark EV can handle with 82 miles per charge compared to the 38 miles per charge that the Volt gets. Also, users with the 240 volt charger get a faster charge with the 2013 Chevy Volt at four hours charge compared to seven hours charging with the 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV.
